Project Objective: Square Enix approached us with a traditional media brief to support the launch of Mankind Divided. Instead, we reimagined the opportunity, designing a fully integrated 360° event that sparked conversation around the ethics and future of Human Augmentation.
We developed the campaign’s visual identity, created an interactive site that showcased original films and participant stories, and amplified the reach across digital and experiential channels.
The result was a groundbreaking campaign that not only raised awareness of human rights in the age of augmentation but also earned global recognition — winning a 2017 Cannes Lions Silver Award.

Site Walk Through
In partnership with Square Enix, Courageous produced a 30-minute documentary and hosted a live-streamed conference inviting top minds in the field of human augmentation to discuss the future of technology’s intersection with humanity.
